Why was my credit card declined?

The Yearbook Market uses Stripe, use a secure PCI-compliant payment processor that validates your card number, expiration date, CVV and billing zip code. If any of these are incorrect or if your financial institutions blocks the transaction for other reasons, you will receive a notice that your card was declined.

The Yearbook Market cart and payment processor reports back when your financial institution has rejected the transaction. We recommend contacting your credit card company to ask why the charge was declined as they are the best resource to explain the reason the charge was not allowed.
